I would like to welcome you to Touching America, a Clinic and School of Massage. We do realize that you have a choice where you go to school and I appreciate your confidence in choosing us. Touching America has been preparing students to begin their new found careers in massage therapy for fifty years. The school was founded as Hot Springs School of Therapeutic Technologies by Hot Springs resident and Physical therapist, Fred Farmere and his wife Martha. Martha was an instructor at the school and continued on as Director preceding her husband's death in 1976.

In 1981 Martha moved the school to the Little Rock area and we are now located in the beautiful historic Hillcrest district of Little Rock. Marthas love for her students and her school were apparent to all who knew her. I feel very blessed to have studied under her as she was truly a fountain of knowledge. She had served on the board, owned her own school and was a very highly respected business woman in the industry. She was and still is today, my hero! She taught me so much more than anatomy, physiology and technique. She taught me about life. She opened my eyes to a whole new world, to the wonderful world of massage therapy. I am honored and proud to be the new owner of the very school that Martha loves so much. I assure you that I am committed to upholding the high standards that Martha and Fred established fifty years ago. I am surrounded by a staff of instructors that are second to none. They are truly the best of the best and I am extremely grateful to all of them.
